After four years of not having a bed base, I finally moved houses and had the opportunity to use a Koala bed base.

I looked at many different bed frames but nothing compared to the simple, clean, minimalistic design of the Koala bed base. I ordered it and within two days, three flat pack boxes arrived.

At first I thought there was a mix-up, such small boxes and NO tools or screws needed?! It turns out this was all we needed.

It was so easy to piece together. My partner and I put it together in minutes and it looked PERFECT. The instructions were extremely simple for us non-handy folk and the YouTube videos added some extra visualisation to put it together.

The colour of the wood is clean and beautiful and the flat ‘weightless’ base supporting my mattress made such a big difference to sleep on.

Behind the bed head hides a perfect space to declutter cables and to create an even cleaner environment for the bedroom.

There is also a generous amount space under the bed as well, which is extremely convenient for ‘hidden’ storage.

It is incredibly sturdy too, which is especially helpful for renters as it’s so easy to assemble and disassemble into flat slates – saving a significant amount of time and space to pack down. I highly recommend!
